Parts: before you buy or sell
What belongs here
Private-owner parts only. No batteries, chargers, airbags, helmets, recalled items, counterfeit or stolen goods, or emissions-defeat devices in this pilot. Local pickup only. Describe damage and missing pieces.
No weapons, hazardous fluids, or items you cannot legally sell. Do not list safety-critical parts with damage or an unknown safety history. Listings may be removed if they do not meet these rules.
Buying a part
- Confirm the exact part number, dimensions, mounting points and specifications. Similar model names do not guarantee fit.
- Ask for photos of wear, cracks, repairs, labels and included hardware. Have a qualified professional assess components that affect safe operation.
- Inspect before paying. Do not send deposits to reserve an unseen item or share login codes.
- Meet in a staffed public location during daylight. Do not post your home address in a listing.
- Agree on what is included and any return arrangement in writing. The platform does not inspect parts, hold payment, or provide a fit guarantee.
Selling a part
- Use your own photos, show labels and damage, and disclose missing pieces.
- Separate what you know from what you assume. “Removed from a 2023 model” does not prove compatibility with other years.
- Only list items you own and have the right to sell. Keep any proof of purchase available without publishing personal information.
- Keep early conversations in the app. Verify payment yourself; do not rely on a buyer’s screenshot or email.
- Mark the part sold once it is no longer available.
If you are under 18, have a parent or guardian handle the listing, communication, payment and meetup. Do not arrange a meetup alone.
